Hello!
I am a Secondary 4 student currently studying computing at Kent Ridge Secondary School. Within the school, I held leadership positions such as School Safety Ambassador and Peer Support Leader. My burning passion for business, specifically Human Resources and marketing, has caused me to develop a strong interest in this course. I am confident that my strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and discipline make me an exemplary student for this course. I am eager to expand my knowledge and skills in this field and am confident that this programme will give me the strong foundation needed for my journey in the business sector.

As a Peer Support Leader I have a lot of empathy for others. I care deeply for other people and their wellbeing. Whenever I notice someone having a troubling time, I try to offer support and comfort them. This helps me to connect with them and understand them better, enabling me to work with others with ease.
As an extrovert, I love collaborating with others. I think that forming deep interpersonal bonds is the key to success, and that by communicating effectively and supporting each other, we can work together more efficiently. I believe that together we can achieve more and that my ability to work well in a team will lead to success.
Technical skills
As a computing student, I have strong technical skills in basic Python coding and Excel for data organisation and analysis. I attended an ICDL Spreadsheets course that covered the main concepts and skills needed to use Excel, such as developing, formatting, modifying, and using spreadsheets. I also competed in the Design Thinking with Robotics and Computational Thinking International Competition and received an honourable mention.
